And Why Are You Still Here?!🤔
I know why the other two Virginia statesman are still there but you…I’m confused
First off, this is not a good look. Secondly, you will absolutely be harangued throughout your term in service and most likely would be ineffectual with your leadership, both at the current position or in the unlikely succession thereof.
Now in the first allegation of sexual assault against you the victim Vanessa Tyson states “What began as consensual kissing quickly turned into a sexual assault. As I cried and gagged, Mr. Fairfax forced me to perform oral sex on him.” Wait. What?
“What began as consensual kissing quickly turned into a sexual assault,” Tyson wrote in a statement released on Wednesday. “Mr. Fairfax put his hand behind my neck and forcefully pushed my head towards his crotch,” Tyson wrote. “Only then did I realize that he had unbuckled his belt, unzipped his pants, and taken out his penis. He then forced his penis into my mouth.”
“After the assault, I suffered from both deep humiliation and shame,” she wrote. “I did not speak about it for years.”
This is troubling whether this was consensually contextualized, as Lt. Governor Fairfax has says in his counterstatements, or whether it wasn’t as recontextualized by Dr. Tyson, a political science professor from California states curiously in what did occur.
Forcing a penis into a mouth full of teeth is very daunting, especially if it involves doing so against their will, or in the face of unease and distress by the one with said mouth in this scenario. Even if it were a mouth with just gums. The strength of the human jaw is 5 times that of a dog in terms of PSI (pounds per square inch) of bite force. My guess is had she mentioned that she would bite it off if forced, then that should cure any raging erection and dissipate the desire.
If this is part of a smear campaign then step down and handle it, bruh.
Also, worthy to note is that two years after this incident Fairfax marries his current wife Cerina.
The second allegation reported by Ms. Watson, a fund-raising consulttant, has said she was raped by the lieutenant governor back in 2000 when they were college students during her sophmore year at Duke, his senior year. Kaneedreck Adams, a college friend has spoken on her behalf and relayed that scenario to the NYTimes.
A college friend of Ms. Watson’s, Kaneedreck Adams, said in an interview that Ms. Watson told her she was raped the day after she said it happened, and named Mr. Fairfax as her assailant.
“She was upset, she was kind of crying quietly and she said that she had been raped” by Mr. Fairfax, Ms. Adams said.
“I said, ‘Did you say no?’ and she said, no she couldn’t say no,” Ms. Adams said. “And she said she was trying to get out of there, get away, remove herself from the situation, and she said Justin kept pushing her down.”
Again, whether this is accurate or inaccurate based on Fairfax’s call to the FBI to thoroughly investigate this claim is irrelevant. Faith is lost on Fairfax as an elected official and therefore this makes you ineffectual with wide ranging skepticism. In the aftermath of these allegations Mr. Fairfax has responded with vitriol against his accusers, instead of stepping down and aside to defend himself.
The aggrieved victims of his assault should also emphatically pursue justice. We should all agree that waiting for the accuser to blow up career wise is not the opportune time to seek justice, nor avenge a perceived wrong committed against you. But understandably in the immediate aftermath of such grievous assault the circurmstances can be stacked against you in the patriarchal state we live in.
Men who seek power only to abuse it should be prevented from seeking even more power. If not then we only collude directly or indirectly to enable them.
It is getting messy in the Commonwealth. And I don’t care if the republican party gains the governship of Virgina in the aftermath of human failures. We should all know that that has nothing to do with party and is inconsequential. When we are unable to grasp that logic we become mired in tribalism.
Virginia Lt. Gov. Justin Fairfax says Gov. Ralph Northam could be behind sexual assault allegations…
The drama in Virginia ratcheted up another notch Monday when Lieutenant Governor Justin Fairfax told a reporter that…
One thing is clear about this mess is that whether its our disdain or discomfort to the fact that we are interdependent of one another, we seem unable to fully grasp and appreciate how flawed we are as humans and to take greater strides to treat each other better.
That is all.
