It’s not necessary for everyone to demonstrate; because if everyone’s demonstrating who will engage others in one on one conversations or write or hold workshops or teach kids about history? If people begin to learn about and deal with racism in their own way, wherever they are, healing of our national infection can begin.
Clay I couldn’t agree with you more on this. A singular fix would certainly undermine the complexities of this scourge of racism. What we need is a combination of solutions to not only expose the disease but to keep it in remission. That’s why we must keep doing what we do and confront the matter on a number of different fronts like we do, so that we can get over the infection of racism in the U.S.
