How Could The House Of Reps Be Divided Over An Impeachment Inquiry Into This President?
After all that we have been going through, do they think this is a game?

It’s as if the conspicuous, but electorally granted, unstatesmanlike pattern of behavior — with all the lies, racism, ineptitudes, corruption, replete with lack of decorum just isn’t enough to convince this congress, that at a minimum, a near unanimous vote is warranted to preserve the constitutional check and balance bestowed upon them as lawmakers. Its as if the modus operandi for most members of congress is to hold party lines and play these self-indulgent zero-sum games — inherent in the brand of politics on display, which seem to supersede the integral concepts and principles of our democratic governance. That said, the fact that they are simply playing games with our livelihood as Americans doesn’t seem to register to them.

As citizens of this republic we shouldn’t seem or be unconcerned that elected officials are neglecting or disregarding their constitutional duties to hold the republic together. The members of congress who voted against a resolution that sets out rules for an impeachment process are conveying a sense of callousness towards all of us as citizens who are victims of an errant and divisive presidency.
They intend to ignore, overlook, obstruct, and diminish the glaring allegations and overt misconduct of this presidency and would rather hold or favor their in-group status over and above others. They are essentially condoning what feels and looks like an autocracy. This autocratic scheme is led in part by their predominance within the socially constructed status quo ante promoted by a cabal of influential leaders. This distinctly radicalized group is aggressively anti-progressive, and demonstrably pro-libertarian with our inherently diverse and fragile state of the union.

In lieu of maintaining and protecting our social democracy this sizable contingent in congress is attempting to force feed ideology by fear and by some vainglorious sentiment driven by primacy that somehow their exclusively identitarian values and entitlement are under constant attack by a growing inclusion of minority interests and liberal mumble jumble. They have found solace and subversive support under this deranged form of conservatism — borne out of an ideology of supremacy, oppression, marginalization, injustice, and the deplorable and stupid endorsement of racializations. They contradictorily find this sort of idiocy to be ideal for a nation founded and built by immigrants.
It’s also not enough that racializations do play a prominent, if not instrumental role in the corruption of the Oval Office. It has become the weapon of choice. The destructive rationale it carries as a consequence makes it a weapon of psychological manipulation.
Furthermore to conspiracy making is the smoke and mirrors defense about “a sham impeachment” or “blatantly partisan attempt to destroy the president” as White House press secretary Stephanie Grisham echoes from the Republican chorus of unwavering support. It ia very much so as gag inducing as it is disorienting to see.

Yeah but she has also said this.

This sort of witness tampering, loyalty enforcement, and mafiosa styled leadership keeps working for Trump. By all the laughs and chuckles he receives from any side of the political equation this appears acceptable with no consequence for his actions, let alone a rebuke.
This is supposte to mean that witnesses to all of the misconduct — including us — but more approximately longtime public servants who have served under both party administrations are wilfully participating in what the president calls a witch hunt. The ghastly insults Trump has levied against the military and F.B.I. agents that he claims are out to get him are too many for me to place in this piece.
They also believe that the president who does things like abuse his powers and violate public trust is okay. They find the unstatesmanlike behavior and lack of respect and decorum for citizenry acceptable because they identify with having those shortcomings and dutifully serve as his narcissistic supply. They also believe that a president who says things like this…
[About former Vice President Joseph R. Biden Jr. at Minneapolis rally Oct 10] “He was only a good vice president because he knew how to kiss Barack Obama’s ass.”
Really, is this what makes Mike Pence a good VP to you sir?

Since Trump is not inclined to making any mistakes he later tweeted that he was only kidding about this gaffe here.
Right, and this president is never shy about being ‘honest’.

[About Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi] “She’s either got one of two problems: she’s either really stupid or she’s really lost it, or maybe there’s a certain dishonesty there.”
Trump detects dishonesty here when it comes to overwhelming evidence of him openly abusing the oath of office which he has done on numerous occassions. The muckraking he does is a right afforded to him and him only. This has openly happened in the solicitation of foreign government to aid and abet a sitting president with interference and investigations into domestic political rivals. The most damning yet is the quid pro quo with the leadership in Ukraine, when the Trump administration went outside of normal diplomatic channels and withheld aid as leverage to pressure President Zelenskiy to announce an investigation of the Bidens’ role in Ukraine.
Those members of congress don’t appear to care much about the malicious intent there either. They don’t seem to care about how disruptive this presidency has been to the lives of ordinary citizens they serve. They don’t seem to care about the implications nor the appearance of improprieties because they are simply just-world rationale for the party, but flagrantly unjust for the opposing party to contemplate or oblige. It doesn’t seem to matter that there is a rash of hate crimes stemming from Trump’s most visible and most ardent support of whom he speaks directly to at his many rallies while ignoring the (popular vote) rest of us . They only care about winning the game they may be playing with democrats or think they are playing with democrats.
