I don’t know if you are a fan of Star Trek or not but Trump and the republican party are quite similar to The Borg collective — a a species of cybernetic being whose mantra is “We are the Borg. You will be assimilated. Resistance is futile.”
The similarities in behavior and and attitude of the Borg collective in the sci-fi franchise is uncanny to how the republican party has oftentimes captured and assimilated liberal, democrat and independent political adherents.
I take heed but caution your propositioning to a call to arms because it would fall short of procuring a balance of terror or threat against the greatest threat to humanity known. In order to get there, the citizens comprising of minority status under the racial hierarchy would have to a) acknowledge such a threat, b) not espouse racial ideology, c) have no resentment issues, d) reject in-group bias and or in-group acquiescence, e)create a nonprofit organization that rival the NRA and engage in “hobby activities that mimic training”, and fund lobbying activities and f)…you know where I am going with this.
The scale of coordination this would require must be substantiated by a core belief of a plausible threat of which there can be no moral equivalence, in unity, for our survival, as diverse citizens of the United States.
It should behoove us all not to make all hell break loose first.
