I would like to read up more on this book because your summation intrigues me. The ‘human specimen’ acculturated and assimilated into the new environs replete with the a different set of customs and traditions. Much like I would have been invited to my relatives in England and acclimating to their set of customs and traditions. I am sure that my skull or brain didn’t experience any remarkable physical changes during that stay of enlightenment…lol.

I guess the more things change the more certain beliefs remain the same.
