Interesting piece but the benevolence of this line has a certain disturbing inference. The thesis statement presumes that there is this need on the part of non-whites to prove what need not be proven. This has a self-reinforcing effect on the unsolicited subscription to whiteness. This non-reimbursable subscription to or rather the passive acceptance of whiteness (a sincere fiction) disabuses or discredits our inherently imaginative and meaningful contributions to human evolution.
