Dude! You Are Not Gaming US With This Confidence Game Being Played At All
Now everybody pay attention to the alternative-facts that the President throws out at you, just follow his lead as best you can. Somehow you’ll find the truth, but you gotta pay attention, try to follow his smaller than average sized hands, its easy, and stay focused.
First, the Ace of Spades or the dossier…
The U.S. Intelligence Community is conducting an investigation into Russian government influence into the 2016 national elections to undermine Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton’s electability at the polls and back Trump’s rise to the presidency. The appearance of impropriety and collusion between the Trump campaign is revealed in a dossier and becomes more and more substantially credible in the ongoing investigation. As a matter of national security the outcome could possibly result in an illegal act under the Constitution: Article II Section 3 which defines treasonous acts.
*Important to note that then-President Barack Obama cited Russian President Vladimir Putin publicly for engaging in cyberwarfare against the U.S. in Sptember 2016, and went on to explain that U.S. would not publicly reciprocate against their actions for fear of appearing partisan.
Second, the Trump cards…
Former Director of the Defense Intelligence Agency under the Obama Administration, General Michael Flynn is tapped as National Security Adviser but resigns in a record-holding period of 24 days due to “trust issues” with the Trump Administration. General Flynn, subsequently offers to testify before Congress in exchange for immunity.
President Obama is accused of wiretapping Trump Tower during the presidential campaign, and claims “This is McCarthyism!”. Trump goes onto compare the allegation to Nixon/Watergate scandal and suggests a warrant should be out for his arrest.
Representative Devin Nunes, the ranking republican and chairman of the House Intelligence Committee who admitted to not finding any evidence to support Trump’s wiretapping claims, also is suggestive that there is nothing much there into Russian meddling in the elections. The “incidental collection” of surveillance as Nunes posited during a recent press conference. This led to his subsequent recusal in the ongoing investigations. This, after learning that the chairman had gone out of his way in coming into and disseminating said information with the White House, and not with committee investigating the matter.
After Press Secretary Sean Spicer suggests that British Intelligence may have more to do with the wiretapping and not so much Obama — information obtained vicariously through Fox News’ Judge Andrew Napolitano — the other card pulled was to blame former National Security Adviser Susan Rice. The latest charge from the White House is that Ms. Rice masterminded this Watergate/Nixon type scandal to undermine the incoming Trump Administration. The “biggest story” which as yet to be told as Trump puts it, stating “I think the Susan Rice thing is a massive story. I think it’s massive, massive story. All over the world,”.
The story seems to stem from unmasking names picked up in the surveillance of foreign officials in an effort that conservative news agencies contend was to seek identities of Trump associates — for political purposes.
Pause. A National Security Adviser is completely within their right to unmask or identify the appearance of impropriety in dealings with foreign officials, that’s part of the job expectation in keeping the nation safe. As in for national security reasons. There is no evidence to suggest that Rice disseminated classified information — a federal imprisonment offense — for political purposes.
Ms. Rice flatly denies such an assertion. “I leaked nothing to nobody, and never have and never would”.
Well Ms. Rice ain’t playing this confidence game with the president and stated through a spokeswoman that “I’m not going to dignify the president’s ludicrous charge with a comment”. And if Ms. Rice did leak this we would have known and seen her arrested from jump. Game over.
But evidently it continues.
