The belief insensitivity of the oppressors and those who placate them with either indifference or through acculturation is motivated by a phenomenally strange ignorance. And their lack of awareness of the harm it presents to them as well is mired in a scandalously absurd form of stupidity. This is essentially what this zero-sum theorizing is about.
