This Is What Happens When We Take For Granted The Privilege, The Power And Responsibility Of Our Vote

It is extremely uncomfortable and excruciatingly embarrassing to see such rampant stupidity within our midsts. Although this goes without saying this must be preached. This is an unacceptable attitude and behavior to have in a multicultural society like ours. Our failure to recognize such idiotic individuals or groups deteriorates the efficacy of our vote.

That said, he will probably win the seat if left unchallenged or ignored. Actually there are many, many more Leslie Gibsons already in the House and in the Senate.

Many who even considered giving any of the conspiracies surrounding the Parkland massacre any credence need to reflect on why you need to feel right about something so wrong. That Mr. Hogg’s ability to articulate his views as a student survivor was not seen as a credit to his education — because I guess that would be unlikely due to longstanding efforts to degrade the institution — but rather a scheme and plot to politicize or disregard the constitution is remarkably idiotic on so many levels. It is rather telling.

Demand more with the power of your vote

Collectively, we are going to have to believe that our vote does matter and that the vote does have power. Your informed participation in the electorate matters in sustaining the democracy you crave. If you squander it away then this happens.

I will not spend precious time mocking any of theses characters or groups in futility. I am not at all amused by stupidity, not in the least. We have allowed ourselves to be entranced by a dangerous element in our society that seeks to destroy the liberties we interdependently enjoy as a democracy.

Our cognizance about the very power of our vote has been distorted by those who exploit our lack of will, and lack of participation in each and every election held. They succeed far too often with the dissemination of misinformation and fear-mongering. Our concerns are never heard, debated and deliberated, instead they are conjured up by shamans and charlatans alike who pose as politicians and invite tribalism to divide and conquer Americans.

Everyone has forgotten that in this democracy we are all Americans first. It is our duty and right to see that the union persists and that the constitution is perfected as well as protected by the people and for the people.
