Mr. Trump, however, has sent out a tweet…

…then another.

Yes, Mr. President, so many signs and yet he legally was able to purchase a gun — an AR-15 assault style rifle, which is not just any handgun. Tsk…such bad neighbors and classmates.

But wait, soon after you took office Mr. President, you swiftly but quietly rolled back Obama’s regulation that sought to block some people with severe mental health problems from buying guns which was contested by gun rights advocates as infringing on the 2nd amendment because that would prohibit them from using them with the right intentions. Yeah. Can’t make this stuff up.

The National Rifle Association “applauded” Trump’s action. Chris Cox, NRA-ILA executive director, said the move “marks a new era for law-abiding gun owners, as we now have a president who respects and supports our arms.”

The executive Vice President for the NRA, Wayne LaPierre claimed that the Sandy Hook victims might still be alive if school personnel were armed. He is quoted as saying this.

It should be evident but many people turn fearfully indifferent or just plain ignorant instead of being mindfully cognizant of this faulty circular reasoning. If gun control measures simply become demanding — even as minimally as much in comparison to obtaining a license for the privilege of driving along with mandatory insurance — then there would hardly be any bad guy with a gun that would necessitate a good guy with a gun. It would reduce the risk by cancelling them both out. By the way good guys with guns do not look forward to the spur of the moment gun battles that could occur at anytime and anywhere. That’s what law enforcement — policing — is for.

However, the House and the Senate republicans and certain democrats completely undermine background checks making law enforcement ineffective when it comes to mitigating such massacres.

Mr. Trump went on to address the nation the following day though.

The forces of hatred and evil — seemingly synonymous with the mentally disturbed — versus the forces of the love and good. In true Hollywood fashion the good will save the day and no one gets killed. Its a box office smash not for Hollywood in this instance but for the NRA.

…following the Sandy Hook shooting, NRA profits increased by almost $100 million, and membership increased by hundreds of thousands, while firearms sales soared.

How convenient!?

By the way, to say that all the individual gunmen who commit mass murders are unequivocally mentally disturbed is scapegoating their evil, malicious intent. There are a number of people who exhibit similar disturbing patterns and are obsessed with guns, but have not and possibly will not go on to commit the type of evil carnage seen with mass shooting incidents.

Then there is the photo op…

Evil is oftentimes not crazy, just cunning, and deceptive like a con artist. There is this indifference — this uncaring selfishness about them and shallow regard for the suffering. They masterfully deflect with ease and grace. Their evil doing is a means to a beneficial end.

Time magazine reports…

In the 2016 election cycle, 19 federal election candidates in Florida races received a total of $834, 165 from the NRA’s Political Victory Fund, the Political Action Committee, according to the Center for Responsive Politics. Florida Sen. Marco Rubio, who ran for both the Presidency and the Senate, raked in the highest donation, receiving $9,900. As a PAC, the NRA can give up to $10,000 per candidate in an election cycle, $5000 for a primary election and $5000 for a general. Rubio also received an A+ rating from the NRA.

There is a lot of evil here, and any good that is expected to show up to the rescue never seems to be enough to save us.

It appears the more that I write the better I perceive.
