Trump Issues A Penance To Us All For Not Believing In His Sacramental Wall
The religiosity in Trump, our patriarchal savior-in-chief
James 5:4: “Look! The wages you failed to pay the workmen who mowed your field are crying out against you. The cries of the harvesters have reached the ears of the LORD of Heaven’s Armies.”
Ah, mysterious way, mysterious ways indeed.
I knew that there would be some price to pay for the House flipping Democrat in the midterm elections. The longest shutdown ever has caused unwarranted hardships and unreasonable inconvenience to us all. While it was seen as a mere sacrifice — a burnt offering — by many in his flock it appeared to have gone up in smoke, proverbially.
The 35-day partial government shutdown is an example of redemptive suffering, a repercussion of our free will — or our electoral college free will to be more precise.
Redemptive suffering is the Christian belief that human suffering, when accepted and offered up in union with the Passion of Jesus, can remit the just punishment for one’s sins or for the sins of another, or for the other physical or spiritual needs of oneself or another. — Wikipedia commons
It is Trump’s will — to shutdown the government
For Trump so loved America that he shut down the government causing delays, disruption, unease, discomfort, annoyance, and aggravation, but whosoever believeth in Trump’s wall should not mind, but have the pleasure of witnessing the harm and basking in the symbolism of everlasting security against those crossing the southern border.
Meanwhile the redemptive suffering of federal employees who’ve resorted to food banks and work without pay must weather the dissonance associated with that proposition. They were chided to the effect of having no faith or pride and advised by a leading apostle in Commerce Secretary Wilbur Ross to simply take out a loan.
The redemptive suffering of federal contractors were not and still not even considered an afterthought. TSA, air traffic control, the airline industry and travelers have all received some form of socioeconomic penalty because of Trump’s will. The threat of such unbridled power and influence on display is to warn of Trump’s will. Apparently questioning Trump’s will can and does have known and unknown consequences.
It is Trump’s will — to build a border wall along the southern border
In his address in the Rose Garden of the White House to the cheers and adulation of his apostles, disciples, supporters and or staff, Mr. Trump reiterated his insistence on building a monument of and to his own xenophobia.
“The requests we have put before Congress are vital to ending the humanitarian and security crisis on our southern border. Absolutely vital. Will not work without it. This crisis threatens the safety of our country and thousands of American lives. Criminal cartels, narcoterrorists, transnational gangs like MS-13 and human traffickers are brazenly violating U.S. laws and terrorizing innocent citizens…Women are tied up. They are bound. Duct tape put around their faces and round their mouths and in many cases, they can’t even breathe and put in the backs of cars, vans or trucks. They don’t go through your port of entry. They make a right turn going very quickly. They go into the desert area or whatever areas you can’t look at.” — President Donald J. Trump
This is the vanity and insanity of whiteness in all its prevaricating ways mired in insolence and ruination. Trump has already shifted the Overton Window on this matter and this unconscionable, inhumane and unethical proposal will see compromises that will see to it that this wall is in fact built — in one way or another. The national media will obscure this fact and even suggest that House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and the democrats have won this fight.
No they haven’t.🤨
So let me be very clear, we really have no choice but to build a powerful wall or steel barrier. If we don’t get a fair deal from Congress, the government will either shut down on February 15 again or I will use the powers afforded to me under the laws in the Constitution of the United States to address this emergency. We will have great security and I want to thank you all very much. Thank you very much. — President Donald J. Trump, Patriarchal Savior-in-Chief
