Try Not To Make Sense Of Any of This Crap
Senate Trial For the Impeachment of Donald Trump

This Republican Senate cabal would like their future party president to succeed with their racialized conquest the next time around rather than to see equality, justice and democracy triumph and prevail. Even if it nearly cost them their lives during the insurrection on January 6, it nonsensically is worth preserving the essence of whiteness — that of which is white supremacy, as it were and truly is, but is often performatively seen as frenetically absurd a concept to ever take seriously, even though its primal instincts were on full display in the storming of the Capitol.
Those seditious conspiratorial instincts to overthrow the government by way of treason laid out by the former president’s ground work to commit blatant and brazen election fraud was unsuccessful in keeping him in power. Those reprehensible and heinous acts are presented as Exhibit A in a Senate trial now. The impeachment managers have laid out a pretty damning and compelling case for conviction which would serve for any president that is either sitting in office or sitting in a golf cart at Mar-a-Lago that decidedly wants to take this republic from democracy to autocracy. And that is regardless if the politically motivated claim in the false equivalence of patriotism is to take back the country that has been stolen by otherwise racially nonconforming birthright or naturalized citizenry from it’s so-called rightful white nationalist owners. This! as Native American inhabitants watch askance, yet again.
The go to defense strategy for the one-term, now twice-impeached, former president is the First Amendment’s all encompassing rights and protections for political speech. In this regard the former president has a right to not only yell fire in a crowded theater, it should be allowable as to be expected of him as a politician to do so, so long as that very theater is filled with his politicized enemies — Democrats, non-whites, and or downright disloyal Republicans. It is also okay to use that free speech to motivate a mob to make sure they don’t make it out of that theater alive and for good measure even go as far as to douse them with kerosene.
As asinine and horrific as that analogy seems it did similarly play out on the day that government carried out the ceremonious certification of then President-elect Joe Biden’s electoral vote win at the Capitol Building.
The former president soliloquizes his speeches to his base which rambles often tangentially and not substantively, rabble rousing in this lost cause mythos of white patriotism and conspiring about deep state elements thwarting his policies. Rarely is he ever on script but his pronouncements are mendaciously consistent with autocratic racializations.
Meanwhile his minions stand there and eat this all up as if they were malnourished by the hands of their own government this whole time. In all actuality they were well fed constitutionally by the privilege and entitlement of being first served at a reserved table. A table set by their very own elected officials of whom have certainly enabled this former president and encouraged the insurrection. Those republican senators are not even paying attention to the trial.

They must have thought to themselves or intimated amongst themselves that the mob would have recognized them as one of their own once captured and that they were close to forming a new government that would make the country their very own — as insinuated by their cult leader.
I am not sure why that would be seen as a good thing for the country intellectually, racially, or politically. In this instance impunity is guaranteed by the GOP party line, and the pardons granted by the former administration is prolific and abnormal as they intended to incentivize such obsequious loyalty to their brand.
Senator Rand Paul and the like are making an argument that is nothing more than a false dichotomy. The question is not about removing the president from office per se, the removal is language that encapsulates charges among other things, but had this unrequited leader manage to remain in office then would the brazen and blatant acts used to overturn the election results justify his removal? The way the Senate GOP should consider this 2nd time around impeachment is to base it on whether they would have proceeded with conviction if it were a Democrat president who attempted to suppress or invalidate the votes of republican leaning Americans and subsequently called for an insurrection.
Based on what is in my opinion an absurdly narrow 7 million plus election poll results there is just a bit of comfort in knowing that there is some semblance of a consensus that the Trump political era has been nonsensical and unacceptable for a second term. But again making sense of this nonsensical stream of consciousness (consisting of 74,222,958 votes) within our very midst is futile.
While we are beyond annoyed and well past irritated in our apoplectic states — before, during and after the insurrection of our Capitol — the attempt at glossing over this spectacle or even rationalizing it as protected free speech is even more disconcerting. Motivating ignorance doesn’t fully capture the essence of the sedition that took place either. Quite frankly there will be a few readers who will ponder why we whom are angered by the inequality and injustice of it all and are obsessive about a true democracy want to take these clowns so seriously based on the media attentiveness of the those dressed in seemingly provincial costumes meant to spark intimidation and instill fear in fellow citizens that they consider not true Americans or ancillary not primary in their racializations to our union and thus our American way of life. This cynical jibe is a weak attempt to distance your own proximity to incorrigible whiteness which by an large is quite wide and ingrained that it would make for a very messy divorce amongst colleagues, family and friends.
They are imbued with a racialized resentment and are driven by claims of this ludicrously spurious charge of grand larceny; that they simply just want their country back. They also want to make America great again. They have charged us with appropriating democracy meant only for them. It’s not enough that among the groups that are said to have stole this country were the ones actually ancestrally stolen. The vanity and insanity of cohesive whiteness can be summed up only one way. The raciality of their identitarian existence is held together by a pastiche of lies, contradictions, fraudulence and mythology.
The allegations of this duplicity are squarely based on the identitarian optics of being this supposed dominant race besieged and overrun by an impurity of subordinated races via the audacity of ahering to and the promting of democratic principles. Based on this incomprehensible framing of being patriots and the optical illusion of race, even Melania Trump’s unquestionable citizenship is considered more American than generations of America’s minorities here. The magical thinking that goes into this scam would have you believe that even Melania’s vote by association should obviously count more than those who are by loose association American, or who are deemed hyphenated Americans in our elections. And who better to channel all this mendaciousness through than their cultish and inept leader.

To see women storm the Capitol in defense of and deference to the “Grab them by the pussy-in-Chief”, is so ludicrous and assbackwards that it reeks of complicity. Complicit in enabling toxic masculinity to flourish or become an ideal steeped in chivalry and thrive where it has been called out and not wanted. Certain white women in particular, however play a pivotal role in the sustainability of white supremacy with their organizational tactics, subterfuge, and recruitment process — their very own tears. Their historical role in all of this cannot be ignored.
Well now we watch the former president’s lawyers throw them all under the bus as he defends himself from charges that include inciting a mob, his most ardent and loyal followers, to storm the Capitol.
Not only is the former president intellectually vacuous, he is narcissistically vapid with delusion, therefore his allure is steep merely in a cult of personality. While Conservatives run amok of the country with their de facto leadership under Trump, too often we find the opposing party in a liberal quicksand. Any sudden, reactive, or impulsive retaliatory defense against them results in this liberal thinking that sinks them further into the belief that they would be just like their oppressors.
We are now equipped to answer the question: Why does Trump — even more than other conservatives — make liberal brains go haywire? It is because he makes it impossible, in practice, for liberals to be tolerant (egalitarian), rational, and optimistic about human nature — three things that are essential aspects of liberal ideology and liberal psychology. Trump makes it preposterous, in other words, for liberals to be “liberal” in the usual sense. — JOHN T. JOST ORSOLYA HUNYADY for AP News.
There might be something to this but having no backbone would make make ill intentioned opponents trample on you. I would suggest not trying to make sense of the nonsensical and the preposterous because it is all a bunch of crap.
