You Will Find No Shame In Me For Believing That This Is MAGA Country

Not sure why all the false equivalences has been made to discredit any category or byproduct of racism

Jussie Smollet’s arrest highlights exactly what I believe to be an aspect of living in caustic and callous society. It should not be surprising that opportunists especially those in the profession that breeds opportunism would find opportunity in racism to exploit for self-serving interests.

It doesn’t diminish racism one bit it magnifies the unsightly parasitic hosts that feed on it.

When Roxanne Gay tweeted that Smollet’s actions are damaging I find this to be a stretch. It is a view that is distorting with exaggerating effect to the psyche of being a victim in a victimless crime.

Such falsehoods which are far and few in between could never dismiss the burden of proof of actual hate crimes and its historical context that presently continue to occur quite regularly in scope and degree of magnitude are far more consequential with effect.

Regardless of race, creed, sexual orientation…etc., all law enforcement agencies must do their job with consistent professional vigor to justify credibility. No time has been wasted here in doing that. I expect the same to be done when the race, creed and sexual orientation is reversed.

It makes statements like these illogical, as if monolithically this makes people of color stereotypically hard to perceive as aggrieved victims, and or character witnesses to injustices of racialized assaults when in fact they do unequivocally occur.

Regardless of the outcome of the investigation, charges, indictments, or arrests, it is inarguable that these instances are unique to and can only be found in MAGA country. I don’t know why it is so hard to believe this is MAGA country.

Racism — with its absurd sentiments and indefatigable incorrigibleness is akin to an infectious disease — can be an absolute affliction with many, many symptoms.

We should all have a new sense of awareness of the particular but unremarkable strains inherently developed from prolonged exposure to racism.
